Delicious High Protein Banana and Oats Waffles

These delicious and moist high-protein oats and banana waffles contain many vitamins and minerals thanks to flaxseeds, hemp hearts, high-protein yogurt, oats, and egg. This recipe rivals our best "regular" or "non-healthy" waffle recipe in taste and ease of making. Ingredients to use to make protein banana oats waffles:

  • Banana: Use ripe bananas whenever possible, the waffles will be much tastier. If ripe bananas are not available, add 1 tsp of maple syrup and 1 tsp of milk. 

  • Milk: Use 1/2 cup of milk if the banana is ripe. 

  • Flour: Use a combination of all-purpose flour and quick oats. The optimal ratio is 1:1; if using more oats flour, you risk having a waffle that easily breaks down.

  • Baking powder: For the fluffiness factor 

  • Hemp hearts and flaxseeds powder: For more proteins, omega-3 and omega-6, and essential vitamins. This waffle recipe is excellent for incorporating such plants into your nutrition. You can't even taste the seeds. 

  • Egg and flaxseeds: Bind the ingredients together
