Chicken Drumsticks With Green Sauce

Chicken drumsticks with green sauce

Ingredients

• 12-14 chicken drumsticks
• 7 cloves of garlic
• 7 to 10 sprigs of fresh cilantro
• 7 to 10 sprigs of fresh parsley
• 1/2 yellow pepper
• 1 teaspoon cumin seeds or powder (optional)
• 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
• 1 lemon to clean the meat
• 1/4 cup oil
• black pepper and salt

Instructions

1. Using a food processor, combine garlic, cilantro, parsley, pepper, cumin, lemon juice, oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper coffee. Taste and add salt, if necessary.
2. Clean the chicken with cold water and salt or lemon. Remove excess water.
3. Marinate the drumsticks with 2/3 of the green sauce and leave to rest for 30 minutes to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Let marinade for as long as possible. Reserve the remaining marinade in an airtight container for later.
4. Set the oven to 375 F. You can also use the barbecue instead of the oven.
5. Cook in the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Use the top rack of the oven. To braise the chicken even more, you can use the grill mode for a few minutes at a higher temperature.
6. Enjoy with the remaining marinade as a side sauce!
