Chocolate Chips Cookies

1.5 cup of cane sugar
1 cup of butter at room temperature
2 eggs at room temperature
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 cups of whole wheat flour
2 teaspoon cornstarch cornflour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt and extra for sprinkling
1.5 cup of chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Brown butter at medium temperature for about 8 min by gently stirring. When butter is brown add sugar, then egg and mix (yes it’s like caramel!). Slowly add in pre-mixed dry ingredient and chocolate chip.
Form cookie balls (1.5 table spoons) and slightly pad to obtain a disk shape.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until soft at the center and edges are golden and slightly firm.
