Blueberry Compote

Ingredients

• 2 cups of fresh or frozen blueberries (see note)
• 2 tbsp of maple syrup or sugar
• 2 tbsp of water (see note)

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients in a small sauce pan and let simmer for 12 to 14 min. Mix a few times. If using frozen berries cook for a little longer. The sauce will thicken and some berries will still maintain their structure. 
2. Add more maple syrup or sugar if needed. 

Notes:

Add a 1/4 cup of water instead of 2 tbsp if using frozen blueberries. Let simmer for about 15 to 17 min.
