Croque Monsieur (with Paratha Bread)

• 2 paratha breads (or any puff pastry of your choice)
• 2 slices of ham (turkey is good too)
• 3 tablespoons Bechamel sauce
• 4 square slices of cheese of your choice (gruyere, gouda, Emmental, mozzarella, etc.)

Instructions

1. If you are using puff pastry (uncooked) cook one side of the paratha bread on a stove over medium heat. Be careful to monitor the cooking because the bread can cook very quickly.
2. Turn the bread and immediately add the slices of cheese, 1 to 2 tablespoons of bechamel sauce, and 2 slices of ham on the half of the cooked side of the bread (facing you). Follow the order of the ingredients.
3. Once the bread is completely cooked, fold one side of the sandwich (the one without the preferred ingredient) over the other to form a semi-circle with the cheese mixture inside. The cheese should have melted.
4. Taste and make yourself another!
